One of the shining gems of the CARC, INC. program is Camp Washington Ranch. The camp is a wonderful facility that can accommodate a variety of different groups from large gatherings to small intimate weddings. Utilizing the dorm facilities, Camp Washington Ranch can easily accommodate as many as 80 overnight guests. There are also a half dozen hotel rooms that provide much more private settings. For large groups, the dining facilities and kitchen can accommodate as many as 120 guests.
Large or small, the camp offers a fabulous setting for corporate retreats and business meetings.
Romantics often find Washington Ranch the perfect place to hold weddings and intimate getaways. The scenic beauty of the camp and aesthetic quality of the pond only enhance a couple’s romantic wedding dreams. For winter weddings or bad weather, the camp also has a large, enclosed atrium that brings the aesthetic beauty of the outdoors inside for the best of both worlds.
The camp is centrally located near Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe Mountains National Park, the Pecos River, Living Desert State Park, along with numerous natural caves and trails. Located along the Black River approximately five miles south of White’s City on U.S. Hwy 62-180, Washington Ranch is an “Oasis in the Desert.”
